Dum enters Bangkok to attend university where he runs into Rumpoey. She greets him but he denies ever knowing her rescue. But his brave action leads to his dismissal from university. Before parting, the two confess their undying love for each other and Dum vows to return for her hand in marriage. But fate has yet to play its dirty hand. Dum returns to the country and finds his father killed by bandits. Seeking revenge, he stumbles into a band of outlaws.
